CUSTOMCELLS® ENGINEERING

Our in-house engineering already considers all important battery technology aspects during the design of the electrodes and cells in order to derive the maximum benefit from the active materials and to optimally serve the individual installation spaces within the scope of the different applications. We design battery packs, battery modules and systems that guarantee reliable cell performance and integrate them into vehicles or other machinery to meet technical requirements while ensuring safety, reliability and durability.

Cell design, including the choice of non-active components, has a significant impact on battery performance and reliability. The design and integration of battery packs presents thermal, mechanical and electrical challenges that are virtually independent of cell chemistry. Optimizing the cell and pack design according to the specific application requires a careful balance between cell and pack energy, performance, manufacturability, misuse tolerance, thermal properties and cost.

We design, prototype and manufacture battery systems with and without cooling systems based on thermodynamic simulations. For BMS systems (hardware and software) we rely on our close partner network.
